We gladly accept pledges or credit cards over the phone. Please contact Lisa DeFreitas '88, Director of Annual Giving, in the Office of Development at (864) 597-4191.

Mail

You can make a commitment to Wofford by mail using our printable pledge form. Pledges should be paid by December 31 (unless you indicate otherwise) or you can include a check or credit card number with the form.

E-mail

You can e-mail the printable form to Lisa DeFreitas. We do not recommend including credit card numbers as this is not a secure system.

Bankdraft (monthly gifts)

This is the easiest way you can make a monthly gift to Wofford! Funds can be transferred from a checking account, making giving easier by breaking your total gift down into smaller portions. You never have to remember to mail in your gift or pledge payment! Use our printable bankdraft form.

• If you have an existing bank draft on file with Wofford, contact Brenda McGuire (864-597-4201) to change the designation or gift amount.

Credit Card draft (monthly gifts) 

You can also have your credit card charged monthly. Use the printable pledge form and include your credit card draft information in the "comments" box.

Electronic Transfer of Stock or Securities 

• Securities in a brokerage account - Securities held in a brokerage account may easily be electronically transferred to Wofford. We must be notified when a transaction is underway. We need to know the donor’s name, the name of the stock(s) being transferred, and the date the transfer is to take place. The college has accounts with most of the major brokerage organizations. Please contact Ed Story, Director of Development at (864) 597-4205 for specific information.
• Securities in certificate form - Donors needing to transfer securities in certificate form should make immediate contact with Ed Story, Director of  Development, at (864) 597-4205 or another member of the development staff. Please do not sign the back of stock certificates. A stock power and a separate form need to be signed and can be provided by the college.
